How do I start using Rank Junction.com?

You need to register yourself to use rankjunction.com. Registration is absolutely free. To register, click on Register link and fill in your basic details, select a course and you will be logged in. Please use a valid email address and ensure that you are the owner of the email address as the passwords and all other confidential information is sent on the email address given by you.

Once you register with us, we create your account and send a link to your mail address to activate this account. Once you receive the mail, click on the link inside it. Your account will be activated. Now you can login using the login id and password provided by you.

I am trying to login but getting a message as 'Please Activate Your Account.'

This means that your account is still not activated. Follow the following process to activate your account.

I forgot my password. How do I get a new password.

Click on the 'Forgot Your Password' button on the Login page. A pop up will appear which will ask you to input your email address. Submit your email address. You will receive a new password in few minutes on your email.

I am not able to login with the email id and password.

This can be due to following issues.
1) You are using a wrong email address as your login id - Ensure that you are using the correct email address.
2) You are using a wrong password - You might have forgotten correct password or you might be using Caps Lock while typing the password. The password is case sensitive. In case you have forgotten the password, please follow the instructions regarding I forgot my password above.

How do I appear for the Live Test/ Practice Test?

Once you login, click on the practice test button on the top menu. You will see practice tests which are applicable to your course. Click on the Practice Test and it will open in a new window.

Live Tests are scheduled in advance and can be taken at that particular time. If you want to take the live test, you will have to take it at the scheduled time. The link becomes active half an hour before the test time.

I clicked on a practice test but it is not opening / I am not able to see the test.

All the tests open in a new window (pop-up).If your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome etc) is blocking the pop up, you will not be able to see the test.

In order to see the test, you have to allow the pop ups on your browser.

How to Turn Off the Pop Up Blockers

For Internet Explorer, Go To Menu >> Tools >> Pop-up Blockers>> Turn Off Pop Blockers
For Google Chrome, Go to >> Menu >> Options >> Under The Hood >>Content Settings>> Pop-up Blockers>>Allow all sites to show pop-ups.

You have to also Turn Off the Pop up blockers on Yahoo and Google Toolbars.

I am not able to see the questions properly in the test ,The test is not working properly.

The portal works best on Internet Explorer Version 8. In case you are using Internet Explorer 6, the questions might not appear properly. In case you are using Internet Explorer 8 and still getting the problem, kindly submit your problem.

Can I extend the time of Practice Test/ Live Test.

No you can not extend the time of the Practice and Live Test and once you start the test you have to submit the test within scheduled time only. In case you do not submit the test, the test will auto save the data of the questions attempted by you and will announce the results.

Can I take a Live Test at a different time than the scheduled time.

No, you have to take the Live Test at the scheduled time only

I am not able to use arrow keys, right click of the mouse and not able to copy the data.

The arrow keys, right click of the mouse are disabled on the test and hence you will not be able to use them.

What happens in case I loose my internet connection while giving a test?

In case you loose internet connection while giving a test, your options till that point are saved. When you start the test again, you will start from the same point onwards. However you will loose the time for which you were offline.

I am late to start the Live Test, will I get additional time?

No, the live test start time and end time are predefined. Hence if someone logs in to the Live test late, he will be getting lesser time to attempt the test.

I find that I am not able to take some tests even though they are shown in my account. When I click on such test it displays a message ' This Test is a paid test, please buy subscription plan'

There are two categories of tests i.e. Free and Paid tests. Few Live / Practice tests will be paid while few will be free. In order to attempt the Paid Test, you have to buy Subscriptions

How do I see my performance in earlier test?

You can go to top right menu >> My Account . On My Account page, you will have My Live Tests and My Practice Tests link on left hand side. If you click on the links, you will find all the practice tests and live tests given by you till now. Click on Review link of the test for which you want to see the performance and you will see the detailed performance.

How is my score calculated for a test?

Click on the Calculation Process link provided on the Performance Details page. This describes in details how your score is calculated for the test.

How do I buy subscriptions?

Click on Subscriptions on the top menu to go to subscription page. You can choose from a range from subscription plans. You will find some subscription plans with a Price of Re. 0. These are free plans for some other courses.

Can I Subscribe to other courses?

At the time of registration, user has to choose a course. We assign a default free plan of this course to your account. However you can subscribe to the other courses. Go to to Subscriptions and buy the subscriptions for other courses (some subscription plans are absolutely free.

What is a Rank?

Rank is indicator of your relative performance amongst all the users who have taken a particular test. This is to give you an idea about where you stand in the actual exam as we try to invite all the users of the actual exam to take the Live Test.

Can my rank differ from the rank which is in actual exam?

Yes, your rank can differ in the actual exam as we are not conducting the actual exam but we are attempting to create an environment of actual exam by bringing in large number of users online at the same time and taking the same test. Based on our analysis of the last few years questions of the particular exam ,we try to give you the relevant questions which may resemble with the actual questions being asked in the exam and thus creating a 'Rank' which can give you an indication of your performance level.

Where do I see all the courses?

Click on the Courses button on the top menu and you get the list of all the courses

I am interested in a course which is not appearing in the Courses List. How can I ask Rank Junction to conduct exams for a new course?

I have given the test but my rank is not visible.

Rank is declared post 15 minutes of End Time of the Live test. This is to ensure that all the users have submitted the test. You have to wait for 15 minutes to know your Rank.

The question nos. in my test and other user's test are different?

This is because we have randomized the questions i.e. the questions are same but their order of display is changed. This is to avoid wrong practices.

What happens if I do not submit my test.

If you do not submit the test in stipulated time, the test will be auto saved and whatever options you have chosen till that point of time will be considered for announcing the results.

I am shown the questions which are not relevant to my course.
