RankJunction: In which year did you pass out your MBBS?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: I passed out in 2013 and completed my internship in 2014 from Holy family hospital New Delhi.
RankJunction: What was your MBBS percentage marks (aggregate or final year)?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: 60.35% aggregate
RankJunction: When did you seriously start preparing for the PG Entrance exam?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: From the beginning of 2015 I started serious preparation after joining RankJunction.
RankJunction: How many hours did you study each day?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: Around 10-12 hours, since I had to do my duty as M.O simultaneously. It used to be around 6-8 hours some days.
RankJunction: Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: Harrison, Bailey, Goodmann and Gillman, Harper, Ganong, Robbins were my reference books but theory mostly I covered it from Guide books itself.
RankJunction: Which books did you read for MCQs revision?

RankJunction: What were the subjects you focused upon?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pathology, PSM, Medicine, Surgery, OBG . . .these subjects I stressed a lot and lot of revision for these subjects. . .but gave equal importance to rest of the subjects too.
RankJunction: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: To keep myself calm and cool. Attempt as many as possible questions, I attempted around 135-140. It is always better to attempt until you are not very sure about the question or your guess work is too bad or the question is completely a new one.
RankJunction: Did you join any classes or test series? Was it useful?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: Yeah I attended Devesh Sirs class in Pathology and Ranjan Sirs for Pharmacology and few special classes for NIMHANS in Chennai – Positive MedPG institute and the Test series of RankJunction which helped me a lot.
RankJunction: What role did the internet play in your preparation?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: Most important for me because WhatsApp group of Rankjunction was very active group and our group members used to fire questions regularly which kept me in touch with subjects all the time and few FB groups of renowned lecturers.
RankJunction: How was your experience connecting with RANKJUNCTION?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: It was an awesome experience. I got few good study partners through RankJunction WhatsApp group and the Mock Tests of Rankjunction helped me a lot. . .I used to practice these MCQ’s and revise it. . .Thanx to Rankjunction for being part of my success in achieving this goal as MD PSYCHIATRY in Nimhans.
RankJunction: What is your advice to future aspirants?
Dr.Aditya Sunka: Try n try until you achieve and never give up on your dreams. . .work hard, make concepts, believe in yourself, have faith in God. If you work hard honestly with strong determination and dedication, it will definitely lead you to success. And revision is the most important tool. Do revise as much as possible.
