RankJunction: In which year did you pass your MBBS exam?
Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan: I completed my house surgeoncy in 2017.
RankJunction: What was your MBBS percentage marks (aggregate or final year)?
Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan: My total MBBS aggregate is 79.18
RankJunction: When did you seriously start preparing for the PG Entrance exam?
Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan: I started preparing seriously after internship
RankJunction: How many hours did you study each day?
Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan: On an average 10-12 hrs
RankJunction: Which books did you read for the theory part?
Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan:
Ganong for Physiology,
Harrison for Medicine,
Nelson for Pediatrics,
Park for SPM.

RankJunction: What were the subjects you focused upon?
Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan: All subjects are important. The high yield areas are the pathology, surgery, SPM, medicine. I spent little extra time on subjects like anatomy, biochemistry, SPM as these were areas I had to strengthen.
RankJunction: What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt?
Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan: The main strategy on the exam day is to stay calm and cool. I attempted 280 questions.
RankJunction: In which field do you want to specialize in? Why?
Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan: I want to specialize in general medicine as it has been my passion from year one.
RankJunction: Was RankJunction helpful in your preparation?
Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan: Rankjunction was definitely a huge help in my preparations and it kept me going the whole distance by constantly motivating me. Dr. Srinidhi Viswanathan: This exam preparation is easily the most difficult period in any medicos life. It’s important to stay focused from the very beginning and not lose momentum. At the same time don’t stress too much. Have some breathing space once in a while. It’s best to study in a group but make sure that group is made of people as committed as you to the end goal.
